Bob Goff is at Willamette Christian Church today!

Okay, in lieu of a Sunday morning scripture post, I can finally tell you about this Sunday morning’s surprise.

New York Times best-selling author (of Love Does), consulate to Uganda, whimsical lover of people, international speaker, and my husband’s mentor from afar, Bob Goff,  is giving Joel a 40th birthday/5th year pastoral anniversary surprise appearance. He will be speaking at the 9:00 and 11:00 morning services, so hurry and get here! It is not a time to be missed. I promise that you will be glad you came.

So sorry that this is such short notice, but it is hard to keep an entire city quiet. I will give you the crazy fun story of how all of this came to be, and Joel’s reaction to it all, in a post later this week.
